What if my parent doesn't answer?

If there's no answer, we'll try again after a few minutes. If we still can't reach them, you'll receive an instant alert so you can check in. You decide what happens next.

Can they use a landline?

Absolutely! Kindly Call works with any phone - landline or mobile. No apps or special equipment needed.

What if my parent has hearing difficulties?

Our AI voice speaks clearly and can be adjusted for hearing aids. You can also add notes about hearing preferences, and we'll adapt the conversation accordingly.

Is my family's data secure?

We take it seriously. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and our database is hosted in Australia. To run the service we use trusted providers for things like the voice calls, AI summaries and payments — some are overseas (mainly the US) — and we set this out in our Privacy Policy. Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! There are no lock-in contracts. You can pause or cancel anytime — from your dashboard on plans that include one (Essential and above), or just contact us at [email protected] or (03) 9999 7351 on any plan, including Starter. If you cancel during your free trial, you won't be charged at all.

What happens in an emergency?

During a call, our AI listens for concerning phrases like "fallen" or "chest pain" and, if it detects one, sends you an SMS alert so you can check in. Important: Kindly Call is a wellbeing companion service, not an emergency or monitoring service. It only knows what's said during a scheduled call, isn't monitored 24/7, can't guarantee detection, and does NOT contact 000. In an emergency, you or your loved one should always call 000 directly, and consider a dedicated personal alarm for round-the-clock monitoring.
